Baugur denies rumours
Icelandic investment group Baugur has denied it is looking at placing its UK business into administration.
The Hamleys owner has not appointed advisers, after reports said it had lined up BDO Stoy Hayward to consider administration to prompt a rescue deal.
Chief executive Gunnar Sigurdsson rubbished the rumour and said the firm is monitoring the situation in Iceland and is in talks with banks.
