Trading halted in Russia

Russian financial regulators have reportedly suspended trading on Moscow's two stock exchanges after markets plunged on Monday.

Russian news agencies claim trading has been postponed for at least 2.5 hours from the markets' usual opening.

The indices of the RTS and MICEX exchanges dropped almost 20% - their largest ever one-day falls - as part of the global stock market sell-off.
