Ofgem in pricing ban call
UK watchdog Ofgem has given the energy industry notice to end practices that fail some homes and proposed measures to ban unfair price differences.
Ofgem added electricity and gas firms should stop penalising consumers for paying by different methods.
But the report found that while some consumers are missing out on the full benefits of competition, the market is working well for most.
