Sergeant: Strictly fantastic!
John Sergeant said his time on Strictly Come Dancing was "strictly fantastic".
The journalist, who quit this week over fears he may win the competition thanks to public support despite a drubbing by the judges, returned for one last dance with partner Kristina Rihanoff.
Sergeant, 64, told host Bruce Forsyth: "I've had an absolutely marvellous time. It's been strictly fantastic." He said he "certainly wasn't pushed".
Tickets rush for Jackson
The most exclusive ticket in London is for Court 73 at the High Court, where Michael Jackson will appear in person on Monday.
The superstar will enter the witness box to defend allegations that he owes an Arab sheikh £4.7m.
Court authorities have issued a limited number of passes to get into the court. "Admission into the courtroom will be by ticket only," it says.
Vatican forgives Lennon
A Vatican newspaper has forgiven the late British singer John Lennon for saying four decades ago that The Beatles were more popular than Jesus.
In an article praising The Beatles, L'Osservatore Romano said Lennon had just been showing off.
Lennon told a British newspaper in 1966 - at the height of Beatlemania - that he did not know which would die out first, Christianity or rock and roll.
Martina makes 'come out' plea
Martina Navratilova called on all gays to "please come out" during a frank conversation about her sexuality on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Campmate Robert Kilroy-Silk had sparked the comment by asking the tennis legend about her attraction to women.
Navratilova said: "Whenever people do come out of the closet, they feel so liberated. My message to all the gays is please come out."
Scotland celebrates pop talent
The Fratellis were among the big winners at this year's Tartan Clef music awards.
The rockers picked up the SECC Tartan Clef award, while Glasgow's Orange Juice lifted the Glasgow Scotland With Style lifetime achievement award.
Sharleen Spiteri of Texas won the Reo Stakis Outstanding Contribution award, while The Almighty lifted the 96.3 Rock Radio Scottish Rock award.
Madonna 'not heartbroken'
Madonna has been leaning on the friendship of her ex-husband Sean Penn following her divorce from Guy Ritchie, it's been reported.
The singer, whose "quickie" divorce was granted on Friday, was spotted having drinks with Penn in New York, a source close to Madonna told People.
The source added: "It's a sad situation, but she's not heartbroken. She's got a very busy life."
