Konnie Huq - almost knocked to the ground on Sunday while carrying the Olympic torch - is to host a new wildlife show on five later this year.

The 32-year-old former Blue Peter presenter of 11 years, will host Zoo Days, charting the lives of the occupants at Colchester zoo.

Subjects in the 20-episode series will include Zola, the pregnant elephant who hates baby elephants, and a baby aardvark taking its first steps.
