Sydow frocks up for Tudors
Hollywood legend Max von Sydow is to star in The Tudors.
The Swedish actor, 79, is returning to the clergy to play Cardinal Von Waldburg in the third series. Waldburg tries to destroy Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys Meyers).
Sydow played Father Merrin in classic horror The Exorcist. He joins Joss Stone among the new recruits in the historical drama, shown on BBC2.
