Ramsay roasts Queen's food
Foul-mouthed chef Gordon Ramsay has had a pop at the Queen by describing Buckingham Palace food as "prehistoric, chewy s***".
The F Word star, 41, told US TV host Jay Leno: "You don't get to know who cooks for the Queen - I'd never employ him because the food is s***."
The remark is bound to upset the Queen who met Ramsay in July 2006 when he received the OBE.
Ramsay says that he enjoyed meeting the Queen but not the food on offer.
He told Leno: "The food was s*** but she was lovely. Unfortunately you've got to go through the ceremony with the canapes which are just absolutely shocking s***.
"They looked prehistoric, like 300-years-old." He also revealed how he wanted to spit out "chewy" Palace duck liver pate dotted with cranberries.
