Beyonce's Desperate new role
Singer Beyonce Knowles is set to make an appearance in Desperate Housewives.
The star's manager, her father Matthew, is reported to be in talks with the producers of the US TV drama and he wants the part to be more than a cameo.
A source said: "They've already agreed to give Beyonce a cameo role. But we're hoping that she could be written in for a recurring role." She has already acted in Dreamgirls, The Pink Panther and Austin Powers In Goldmember.
