Dr Who man blasts the BBC

The man who created the sonic screwdriver for the Doctor Who series has attacked the BBC for licensing toy replicas and making a fortune - without giving him a penny.

Victor Pemberton thought up the gadget, when he wrote Doctor Who story Fury From The Deep in 1968.

But he tells The Sun: "I thought about suing the BBC. But what's the point? So now while they make lots of cash, I get nothing." The BBC did not comment.

Crime against gaming
I think the high value, cinematic cut scenes in Uncharted had the right look and length. I wouldn't want them any longer than that. Unskippable ones are a crime. I also don't like it when the character in a scene is different to the in-game one, eg "Hey, I haven't got that gun!" half_empty80 (PSN ID)
