Dr Raj found guilty by GMC
TV psychiatrist Raj Persaud was dishonest and brought his profession into disrepute by plagiarising, the General Medical Council has ruled.
The doctor admitted passing off other scholars' work as his own for a book and articles, but denied dishonesty.
He claimed he was in a confused mental state because of pressure of work. The GMC will decide on Friday what, if any, sanctions Dr Persaud faces.
