Rio launches Hip Hop Idol
Rio Ferdinand is launching a celebrity hip hop version of Pop Idol, featuring celebrities singing hip hop classics.
The TV show will raise money for anti-gun charities via its phone vote. The Manchester United defender wants Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse as judges. According to The Guardian, Jimmy Carr and Coleen McLoughlin will appear.
Ferdinand previously presented World Cup Wind-Ups on ITV1 in 2006.
