Bid to avert Hollywood strike
Hollywood studios have made a "final offer" to actors in a bid to resolve the industry's royalties dispute.
The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers has offered actors a three-year deal worth than $250m.
Actors' union, the Screen Actors Guild, led by heavyweights Jack Nicholson and Ben Stiller, has threatened to strike unless members receive a bigger share of revenue from new media.
