The TV series Rome could be turned into a movie if creator Bruno Heller has his way. The HBO/BBC show was cancelled after two series despite good reviews.

"There is talk of doing a movie version," he said. "It's moving along. It's not there until it is there. I would love to round that show off."

HBO has since admitted that it should not have prematurely ended Rome which was heading for a third series.
