Slater is a karate kid
Christian Slater has announced he's a green belt in karate.
The Broken Arrow star signed up for martial arts lessons in a bid to get over the lifelong inadequacy he felt over his lack of height and discovered he had a knack for "kicking butts".
Slater says, "They (the teachers) definitely didn't cut me any slack in there. We were all kicking each others' butts - it was great."
