Your say on abortions
Far better to abort than bring an unwanted child into the world. It also gives the taxpayer a break - Keith, Herts
When you learn to drive you want to get out and use the knowledge asap. The same with sex education and some can't handle the pressure - result abortion. It will always be evil - Margaret, Worcestershire
Your say on abortion

By the time a rapist gets convicted (if he's unlucky) a woman is likely to be too far gone to have an abortion - Lucy, Leeds
Your say on abortion
When I got pregnant nine years ago, my controlling partner took me to my GP and insisted I had an abortion. If it hadn't have been for all the red tape I wouldn't have had time to get away from him and I wouldn't have my beautiful daughter who I desperately wanted. Women need time to be sure it's the right choice - Ana, Yorkshire
Your say on recession
The last recession was under the Tories with John Major and Norman Lamont. All you Tories forgot Black Wednesday? And that was their own doing, not a worldwide problem - Ken, Conwy
There has been a recession since the late 80s veiled by easy credit and national borrowings - Angela, Bognor
Only fools borrow money to give away. No wonder we are in for a recession. Thanks New Labour - Bob, Nottingham
Your say on recession
Labour weren't perfect but for Jim, Sheffield, to laud the Tories as saviours of the UK shows a crass ignorance of the 80s and the reason that England is in the state its in - Dave, Fife
I don't suppose for one minute we can fend off the inevitable but I'm convinced abandoning EU targets, biofuels and all things green would help - Dave, Epping
Your say on recession
This is a global not a national problem. Land taken for biofuel does not help food prices. Tories should not have sold our oil and gas. If you want anyone to get us through, it is definitely not the Tories - John, Irlam
Sky-high inflation, housing market in crisis, job losses, fuel price at all time dearest. We are in a recession - the worst I can remember - David, Poulton
