Small shareholders bear the brunt
Not all shareholders are fat cats. Many were encouraged by our Government to invest in their companies through sharesaver schemes. My investment is now worth half of what I invested.
The profit in dividends was only just above what I could have earned in a bank account. However, the Government is now bailing out itself, as well as those people who invested in housing and those who have lived for today.
