Cat Ballou (1965) PG. BBC2, 3.50pm
Our View: A true original, mixing musical numbers with comedy in a Western setting. Jane Fonda looks suitably sexy as she straps on a gunbelt to avenge the death of her father and Lee Marvin is hamming it up for all he's worth as both a drunken hero and a noseless villain. Cat Ballou is like nothing you've seen before - or will again. 4/5

Critic's View: Marvin is brilliant, but the film is patchy. Time Out

Del Boy return a mistake
David Jason is the only Del Boy we'll ever want or need. This pointless early days show is doomed to failure, just like First Of The Summer Wine in the 80s. Why bother? John-Gerard, Glasgow
