Glazers want Ron to stay
Manchester United chief executive David Gill has revealed the decision to keep Cristiano Ronaldo was taken with the full blessing of the Glazer family.
The matter was discussed with the owners at the Champions League final in May amid the first rumours of Real Madrid's interest in the winger.
He said: "We had one phone call, one chat in Moscow and the decision was made. Full stop."
