Ashton rejects Academy
Former England coach Brian Ashton is to take up a consultancy role with the RFU and will not become head coach of the National Academy.
Ashton, who was sacked by his country after a disappointing 2008 RBS 6 Nations campaign, will provide high level performance consultancy.
He said: "I look forward to providing services to the RFU in the areas of elite coaching and coach development."
