Council pay row continues
The row over council workers' pay has intensified after Scotland's largest local government union urged rejection of the latest pay offer.
Unison, which represents 100,000 staff, said the current offer was less than the rate of inflation and too low.
The Convention of Scottish Local Authorities, the local authority employers' group, expressed disappointment at the announcement.
