Ding due change of luck
Ding Junhui has not had much luck so far this season but he has at least been favoured by an easy first round draw at the Grand Prix in Glasgow.
Jamie Burnett will be playing in his home city but has little else going for him after a woeful 2007/08 campaign.
Mark Selby and Peter Ebdon will also be expected to progress without too much fuss against Andrew Higginson and the little-known Simon Bedford.
