British boxers underdogs

All three of Britain's remaining boxers are odds against with Ladbrokes to make the Olympic finals in Beijing.

Liverpool's David Price is 6/4 to beat reigning super-heavyweight world champ Roberto Cammarelle of Italy and Tony Jeffries of Sunderland is 2/1 to defeat Irish light-heavyweight Kenny Egan.

Londoner James DeGale has lost four of his five previous bouts against Darren Sutherland of Ireland and is 6/5 here.

Gold odds now grow

Blue Square are now offering 11/4 that Team GB will make it to 20 gold medals at the Beijing Olympics and go 1/4 they fall short of that mark.

Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson added to the sailing success but Phillips Idowu was denied gold in the triple jump by 5cm and could only take silver.

The Brits can also now be backed at 6/1 to finish third in the medals table, with Russia 1/12 for that spot.

More baton woes 10/1

Following Phillips Idowu's triple jump defeat, Team GB have been eased out to 6/4 with William Hill to win 20 gold medals and are 1/2 not to.

Hills also now offer 5/6 that the Brits will get 46 or more medals of any colour in Beijing and the same price they fall short of that mark.

Both the men's and women's 4x400m relay teams are 10/1 to drop the baton in the heats and it is 100/1 both flop.
