The remaining 200 Woolworths stores have closed their doors, bringing an end to the retailer's near 100-year presence on the UK high street.

About 600 of the firm's 807 outlets had already shut and the collapse has led to 27,000 staff facing redundancy.

Administrator Deloitte is seeking to sell the leases of about 300 Woolworths stores and its Ladybird children's clothes and Chad Valley toy brands.
