Secret files opened early
Moves to open up secret Scottish Government files to the public sooner could be extended to other bodies, the Parliamentary business minister said.

Ministers will seek views on releasing some documents after 15 years instead of 30 years, said Bruce Crawford.

The files - covering matters such as devolution, the poll tax and the demise of heavy industry - are being made public 15 years earlier than normal.
